Day 5

The sunrise this morning was pretty!

.

There were three more pieces of spam under the door this morning, and one of them was a repeat.  Just how low will they stoop?  There are not a lot of pictures on this day; my notes say “studying hard, eating sensibly, walking, and working”.  I did take a trip to Downtown Disney to pick up some items that I’d seen in the parks, and to look over the watches there.  I fell in love with a gold Tinkerbell watch, and had to have it.  It’s a Skagen – Todd thinks that is a great brand.  Me, I dunno nuthin’ ‘bout watch brands.  I just know what I like when I see it.

After my sessions ended today, I retired to the quiet little courtyard at the Swan and did some work stuff.  When at last the battery gave a warning, I dumped it back in my room at the Dolphin, changed my clothes, and took a walk around the lake.  Then I changed out of sweaty clothes and hoofed it into Epcot, a bit more leisurely in pace.   On the way, I snapped a shot of the lady on the pirate ship that is anchored outside the Yacht & Beach Club.  By this time, the sun was going down and I was around all the countries in no time, nibbling here and there.  Loverboy was playing at the American Adventure Theater.  And I spotted something really weird up in a tree!  Ended up back in France, bought a chocolate mousse, and took it with me on the boat back to the Dolphin.

Well, I walked into the room about a quarter of nine, and decided to settle in on the balcony for the fireworks, when I became inspired.  I ran inside and got my laptop, ran back out, and fired up iTunes!  Yep, I've got the Millenium Celebration CD in there, and I queued up the music for Reflections of Earth ALMOST in time to the fireworks.  The family on the balcony below to the right of me was most appreciative.
