Day 11 - back to Long Island
Today, I
did as I said I would. Found the nearest Target (on Long Island, we pronounce
that "tar-ZHAY", like it was French) and stocked up on broom, mop, pail, waste baskets, etc. Then I went to the
house and wiped out the cabinets, cleaned off the counters, and mopped the
floors. There, no more saw dust. While all this was going on, I did the
remaining laundry, and stacked it all neatly on the closet shelves, where it
will sit until my dressers arrive.
Then I went to the local pizza place for some chow, and from there I headed to
the airport. My flight got in a half hour early - guess we had a good tail wind
coming up the coast.
I left the big bag of shells, along with my shelling gear, in the garage. I'm
glad, they were HEAVY!
